Pizza dough is a lot like bread dough but more stretchy so that it can be shaped into round pizzas. Baked pizza dough is the perfect foundation to build a delicious pizza.
Before it is put into the oven, it is topped with layers of sauce, cheese and meat. Once it is cooked it is served as a yummy meal that many enjoy.
Now, back to pizza dough. I said it’s a lot like bread dough. So, does this mean that pizza crust has yeast?

So, pizza crust does have yeast in it. It makes it tasty and fluffy. This sounds alot like what bread yeast does.
PIzza dough and bread dough can even be used interchangeably in some recipes. So, is pizza yeast the same as regular yeast?
Pizza yeast is the same as regular yeast just with certain additives that are better for shaping into a pizza. So, it is very similar to regular yeast like bread yeast however there are a few differences.
Because of some ingredients added to it, pizza yeast is easier to shape where regular yeast will pull itself back to its original shape. Still, you can use these doughs interchangeably.
So, if you want to use pizza dough to make bread, you can. If you want to use bread dough to make a pizza, you can do this, too. Both rise and give good flavor as well as texture to the food.
