When my kids watched Garfield for the first time, they were fascinated with lasagna. They actually asked for me to make it so they could be like Garfield! This was a big deal, because my kids are very picky eaters and certain textures make them cringe right away.
However, because Garfield ate lasagna, they were willing to try it.
Thankfully, they loved it, so lasagna became a regular dinner plate. My first time making lasagna from scratch was a complete failure in my opinion. I definitely didn’t make it correctly! However, now I’m more capable and confident in the kitchen.
I am also more adventurous in my cooking and don’t have as many cooking failures much to the relief of my family. Lasagna though can still be a tricky dish to make for many people.
With all the different cooking instruments that are available to use, the air fryer has become a big favorite in many kitchens. Now comes the real question, can you cook frozen lasagna in an air fryer?
You can cook lasagna in the air fryer. All you need to do is remove the outer packaging (assuming it’s a frozen lasagna) and then add it to the top shelf of your air fryer or the air fryer basket. You will want to make sure that it has been preheated to 375 degrees first, and then cook it for about 10-15 minutes.

After the 10 minute mark, check the cheese to see if it’s brown, if not then add the extra few minutes needed. There is an advisory to drain the fat and grease before serving, but that’s an optional thing to do.
The air fryer has become a staple in the kitchens of many of my friends. Some people absolutely love them, and other people just use them every so often. There are many reviews for them on many different websites and opinion columns.
With the many different brands available, it can be either an inexpensive item or an item that will cost a good amount of money. However, one thing that you can definitely count on, is that they definitely work!
Some people use them as a healthier option of cooking or frying, and some people use them as a side option to use when their oven is full. Whichever way you side on with the use of the air fryer, it is very nice to have the option open for use.
With the different options available for cooking, the air fryer is becoming a popular option. With its many different cooking options, cooking frozen lasagna is a possibility in a very short amount of time. However you cook your lasagna, you now have options on the different ways to cook it.
It’s one of the many reasons why I’m thankful to be born in this time period! Cooking has gotten easier and more feasible in the last few years.
Can You Cook Kraft Mac And Cheese In An Air Fryer?
When I first got married, my husband had a few things he told me to never make him. First was any sort of casserole. Apparently he had that several times a week growing up, and he was completely sick of it! Another was ramen noodles. Now that was an easy thing to agree to!
I watched a video that showed how ramen noodles can be used to fix other things, and it was enough for me to say I would never eat it again. The last thing he asked me to never make was Mac and Cheese.
I actually loved Mac and Cheese, so this was something I struggled not to make. However, I would make it when he wasn’t around and that would be my special treat to eat every now and then.
After our first child, I had Mac and Cheese with our son for lunch or dinner when my husband wasn’t there. One day I had some leftovers that we were eating, and I gave our one year old the leftover Mac and Cheese. My husband then asked why he didn’t have any. When I told him his original request from when we first got married, he said it’s been long enough, and he’s now willing to eat Mac and Cheese as long as it’s not an every week thing.
With kids, Mac and Cheese is an all time favorite! There’s just something about cheesy noodles that give kids the biggest grin on their faces. With the air fryer option available in many homes, can you cook Mac and Cheese in one?
Mac and Cheese can be cooked in the air fryer and it is surprisingly easy as well. You can make Mac and Cheese in the air fryer in about 20 minutes or so.
Thankfully there are many videos available that show the many ways to make Mac and Cheese in an air fryer, so it’s definitely a possibility. First you want to preheat the air fryer to 340 degrees and then add the Mac and Cheese into a deeper air fryer dish.
Then mix in the rest of the ingredients into the dish and put it into the air fryer for about 20 minutes.
You will want to mix it at the 7 minute mark and again at the 15 minute mark. By mixing it 2x while cooking, you will avoid having any burnt top when it’s completed. When it’s finished, you will want it to stand for a few minutes before serving.
You should end up with a delicious dish that you and your kids will love! If you want to make your Mac and Cheese a little healthier for your kids, try sneaking in some broccoli or green peas. The cheese hides a multitude of veggies that kids may not eat otherwise!
If you want to add some protein, add some chicken cubes from any leftover dish, or really any kind of meat. Again, the cheese with the noodles often will get kids to eat it.
Sometimes I just add some hot dog pieces that I chopped up. You can also make it more creamy by adding cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, or extra milk with shredded cheese. Really, almost anything will work in your Mac and Cheese dish and still be a favorite to eat with your family.
There are many brands of Mac and Cheese out there. There are the cheap .50 cent boxes available at Aldi’s or possibly Walmart. Then you have other better brands available. Have you ever tried the Cheetos version of Mac and Cheese? It’s definitely a different taste.
Out of all the different brands, the Kraft Mac and Cheese is an all time favorite with my kids. I would have to buy several boxes a week to keep up with the demand from my kids! Now, we also have the air fryer, and it’s a great way to cook their favorite Kraft Mac and Cheese.
With the air fryer being an option that people love to use, I’m always thankful for easier ways to feed my family. Kraft Mac and Cheese is an absolute favorite in our house, and I’m grateful for new and simpler ways to cook using the air fryer.
Whether you make your own version of Mac and Cheese or just follow the box recipe, Mac and Cheese has become easier to make thanks to the air fryer.
